My CAPTUR Experience

Hi guys!

As you all have seen before, I have quite a fascination with cars! I was recently invited for the Renault CAPTUR Blogger Meet 2018 at Coorg. I was really excited to explore the theme of the whole event “CAPTURE YOUR SENSES”

I started my journey on 9th March from Mumbai, it was little early but once I reached Taj Madikeri, the beauty of the place enticed me. It actually excited me that if this is the start, what will be next. The property was absolutely amazing. It had a different vibe, the weather was pleasant, and the view from my room was really good, it couldn’t have been better!

Soon after we checked in, we had a briefing session where everything about the Renault CAPTUR was explained and we were now even more pumped up to get our hands on the Renault CAPTUR the next day.
Next morning, the drive from Taj Madikeri to Mandalpatti started early in the morning. It took about 1 hr 30 mins to reach Mandalpatti but trust me it was worth driving to that point as it was an adventure in itself. I witnessed and experienced different kind of patches and scenic beauty on our way. It was more like a movie setup where I felt like a hero driving through different errains in a stylish SUV. It was really dramatic and thrilling. But I was able to enjoy all of that, because even though I was crossing these different terrains, I never felt any jerk or bump throughout the journey, thanks to solid suspension of Renault CAPTUR.

After reaching Mandalpatti, we were ready for some off roading which can get a little tricky but the Renault CAPTUR handled it quite well with its 210 mm ground clearance, 17 inch alloy wheels and powerful engine. The overall drive was very comfortable and smooth even on the worst of roads. A beast of a SUV, this stylish looking car leaves you in awe of its power and performance on the toughest of terrains. It perfectly blends power with efficiency; the CAPTUR delivers a dynamic drive experience.

The drive to Mandalpatti was a fun filled experience and very adventurous as well. Not only were we impressed with the Renault CAPTUR’s performance off-road but also quite impressed with the design, which is sleek, subtle and still makes a bold statement. The Renault CAPTUR is designed for personalization: you can choose a distinctive body colour from a wide range of fashion-inspired dual tone roof styling. All of this is complemented by an array of thoughtful utility add-ons that make the Renault CAPTUR as convenient as it is stylish.

We even participated in an activity where all of us were given different themes, mine was ‘Boot Space’ where my driving partner and i had to present boot space in a unique and creative way. So our idea was to fit Aman who is 6 feet 4 inches in the boot space and convey how spacious the boot space of the Renault CAPTUR is. The CAPTUR’s load space is impressively practical. With the rear seats pushed all the way back, there’s a humungous space of 392 litres on offer. Impressive right?

Once I finished my off roading, we visited the Rainforest Retreat for a sumptuous lunch & Old Kent Coffee estate later for tasting coffee. We slipped into bliss as our senses savored rich aroma of coorgi food & coffee. At last we headed to hotel for rest of the day.

Once we reached our hotal, we relaxed for a bit and then got ready for dinner. I had a great time interacting with the Renault team and fellow bloggers. It was a night filled with fun, food, drinks and laughter.
Next morning it was time to say goodbye to this beautiful place. Goodbyes are indeed hard! It was a great experience for me and I would strongly recommend the Renault CAPTUR to anyone who is looking for a stylish yet strong SUV.
The Renault CAPTUR truly captures your senses! 🙂 Enjoy the pictures!
